genuinely don’t understand why people can’t take a few moments of their day to help someone out

As you have heard already I had my own opportunity to lay judgement on a particular party this past Thursday in Newport, RI and did I ever.

And only a day later I was accosted by one of my best friends (so I thought and still think to some extant) as he grabbed my arm at the beach club’s bar and demanded in angry and redfaced tone that I curb my tongue as apparently I had “insulted” someone in their home (not really, but that is the way the story was told)…Anyway, I took it like a man and even felt contrite and nearly moved to apologize, for a brief moment, when this friend of mine simply went too far and personalized in a way unnecessary.

I turned my formidable body and ire around on him and as the energy completely shifted, said, “so, okay, I get it, but now…what am I supposed to to do about you?”

It was a marvelous turn of events. As they say and I shall wait for his direct amends now and I shall receive them magnanimously.

And while I am at it, telling tales…just last week I had words with a FedEx driver who saw fit to block an entire thoroughfare with her truck. She was wearing a mask and entered a restaurant and was in there for ten minutes. I walked in and gave her a piece of my mind. Because apparently no one else would.

Anyway, here’s to speaking up and saying (or writing) what must said (or wrote).

You are brilliant. And this girl..she is a turd.

Love your favorite uncle.

Glorious Eve - if not for her unbelievable rudeness, we wouldn’t have gotten this letter full of zest and righteousness xx

Love it! I was recently in the UK and road the train from South Hampton to Gatwick. It too was a full train and I must say for the most part the passengers were very aware of those needing seats (especially the local polite passengers 😉). But during our time training in the UK I did observe a few passengers with very similar unawareness as this girl you have written this letter too! Unspoken words needing to be said.
