My favorite two short books are Voltaire's Candide and Machiavelli's The Prince. There is great power in brevity. I am presently finishing a short satirical novel called Point Douche. It is about the Tech Mongols' and Hedge Fund Visogoths' cultural appropriation of "the surfing lifestyle."
This selection is chef's kiss! My favorite 100ish page book has to be Giovanni's Room 📚
The short books that come to mind are anything by Vonnegut--slaughterhouse five, breakfast of champions, and cats cradle.
A dear friend’s (james) favorite book is heart of darkness, which is light in pages but dense in everything else.
Encouraging my book buying habit!?! Could it be!? Good recs!

Sounds like an interesting read! Adding Voltaire and Machiavelli to my list :)
