Kites exist and are
Surely there to remind me
Of you and the wind

God light radiates
From the push purple bruise clouds
Around them green sky

Is it really green
Or are my eyes playing tricks
What’s the difference

Since yes the clouds are
Silver well and truly chrome
Scaling the sky slick

Do you think when dogs
Stick their noses up in wind
It’s a pure worship

Lap lap lap lap lap
The river laps at old stone
I close my eyes now

In the dark I hear
Life joy and a very loud
Helicopter too
