Oh my, this flashed me back to a favourite childhood meal of mine too. Eggs and soldiers was the height of breakfast at my home, and one I loved very much. I must reintroduce them to my adult food repertoire. And it gives me an eggs-cues to hunt down some fabulous egg cups too!
I have discovered soft boiled eggs in the last year. It’s my breakfast staple every day!
